Couchbase's mission is to be THE data platform that revolutionizes digital innovation. Our mission was to create a one-day conference that fuels their revolution, making this our theme throughout.
Our primary objective for the conference was to build greater brand awareness within Europe. The conference was hosted at Kings Place in London. Another goal of ours was to influence more engagement with visionaries, engineers and technology partners. We were inspired by Couchbase and their determination to radically transform customer engagement, so we knew the conference needed to encapsulate the way we connect through digital experiences.
ETM worked diligently with Couchbase throughout the planning process so that we could concentrate on fulfilling their desired outcomes.
etm produced all aspects of the conference; the event strategy, the agenda and content, the experience design and environment layout, the production of the main plenary with two breakout sessions, the design and building of the exhibition area, also the registration and on site badging. We also wanted to create some unique engagement activities for all delegates which included a guest-generated mosaic wall triggered by social media hashtags. Finally, we rounded the conference off with a summer BBQ overlooking Regents Canal, giving the delegates a great opportunity to network at the evening reception.

- We asked delegates if they thought that Couchbase provided high business value to their organization and achieved a brilliant 106% of our target of 4 on a 5-point scale.
